A Message from Coach Mims
Florida Tech Panther Fans,
This Day of Giving 2025 will be one of our most exciting yet as we continue to build on Florida Tech’s legacy as the Sunshine State’s “Countdown College.” Our Panthers have come from all over the world to be part of this great tradition, embracing our motto: "Forward Together, Boundless Potential."
We are coming off another competitive season, finishing in the top four in the SSC—the nation’s best Division II basketball league. Last year, we pushed the undefeated national champions to overtime on their home court in the SSC semifinals, coming closer to beating them than any other team all season. Our point guard led the nation in assists, our shooting guard was second in the SSC in scoring, and two of our seniors signed professional contracts to play in Europe.
This season, we are in a rebuilding phase, but our coaching staff is excited about the potential of both our returning players and new additions to the team.
Your support of our program helps us provide the best possible experience for our scholar-athletes. We truly appreciate your role in our mission to deliver a high-quality NCAA basketball experience alongside the world-class education Florida Tech provides. Just 37 cents and a dream started this university, and every gift we receive plays a crucial role in enhancing our program.
This year, we are raising funds to support facility enhancements, new software, and improved travel experiences for our young men. Your generosity helps ensure that our student-athletes have the resources they need to compete at the highest level.
